Bhupinder “Sonu” Singh Chandi

Founder, President

Sonu Chandi truly is the embodiment of the American dream. Born in India, Sonu came to America when he was just a teenager, and today he is the President and CEO of The Chandi Hospitality Group which he runs with his two brothers and his wife. Though Sonu is the owner of four thriving restaurants in Santa Rosa, California, and has opened thirteen Mountain Mike’s Pizza locations in the North Bay in the last twelve years - he has no plans on slowing down. Sonu continues to work hard and reach new heights for both his family and his community.

 
 

Jatinder “Joti” Singh Chandi

COO, Sr. Vice President

Born in India, Joti came to the U.S. with his family in 2000 and is the 2nd of four children. He obtained his degree from Sonoma State University in Finance. Today Joti is the COO and Sr. Vice President of Chandi Hospitality Group. As such he spends his time overseeing and developing all Chandi Hospitality Group’s development projects. His moto is “Don’t run behind success. Run behind excellence. Success will come.”

Joti is deeply rooted in the Sonoma County community and has served on several nonprofit boards including fours years on the Wednesday Night Market Board of Directors. He was also the recipient of the under Forty Award in 2017. When Joti is not working, he is biking or spending time with his children.

 
 

Pardeep “Sunny” Singh Chandi

Sr. Vice President

Sunny Chandi, like his older brother and company president Sonu, arrived in the U.S. as a teen. Initially unable to speak English, he completed his education in Walnut Creek public schools, followed by Diablo Valley College and Sonoma State University, where he studied finance.

Today, Sunny spends much of his time as Chandi Hospitality’s Operations Manager and is responsible for helping educate the company’s employees in practices that will simplify the various restaurants’ procedures and make them more efficient as well as managing quality assurance and supervising all four downtown restaurants.

Sunny boils his responsibilities down to a simple formula: “My goal is to check off all the things on the company’s to-do list, and do whatever is necessary to accomplish them.”

 
 

Ranjit “Ren” Kaur Chandi

Executive Vice President

Ren came to America as a teenager and went on to gain a degree in Biological Sciences from UC Davis. She spent time working at National Food Labs where she gained valuable knowledge about the hospitality industry supply chain. After joining Chandi Hospitality Group and the family through marriage, she has worked tirelessly in many different positions during her time with the team.

Her time spent organizing Human Resources and completing administrative and financial tasks has given her the foresight to always plan ahead and be on the look out for ways to make Chandi Hospitality Group more efficient. She has been instrumental in rolling out new projects with this thought in mind. When she is not working, Ren enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, hiking, gardening, or reading.

Gurcharan Singh Chandi

Founder, Investor

Gurcharan came to America as an adult in search, like many other immigrants, of a better life for himself and his family. Through hard work and determination, he ensured that his children had a good education and taught them the value of hard work. He began his experience in hospitality when he opened an Indian restaurant in Walnut Creek, CA. A few years later the Chandi family would move to Santa Rosa, CA and Chandi Hospitality Group was realized. In addition to being a Founder and Investor Gurcharan is an integral part of the team, ensuring that our store needs are met. When he is not working Gurcharan likes to spend time with his grandchildren.

 
 

Jessica Presley

Jessica has extensive experience in customer service working with teams in several different branches of the same company at the same time. She is a person committed to working with each team in a way that best fits their needs and is comfortable being a team member or taking the lead when necessary.

Jessica utilizes her organizational skills and follow-up to increase the effectiveness of her team in creative ways. She knows each member of the team has something unique to offer and uses her exceptional listening skills to make sure those ideas are taken into consideration. She is flexible in her thinking and willing to try new ways to solve complex problems. She helps keep others motivated by bringing enthusiasm to any job while playing to the strengths of her team.
